Bonza has its AOC
Well, C-FLKC has FLKCed off back to Canada (due to arrive in Vancouver this morning AEST), and C-FLHI has been parked up at MCY for well over a week at this stage.

Bonza's so desperately needed aircraft now flying around the USA and Canada for Flair. Rumour is since Flairs #1 competition Lynx went bust they need the capacity... So much for getting it painted into Boza colours and sending it back to AU

Maybe needs a safety certificate cos it's changing ownership
Local mechanics are taking up to a week to get to customers due to too much work and not enough mechanics
If it goes screaming down 31 and coming to an abrupt halt, that'll be the brake test, after that fairly good to go

I can’t help to think that the cash burn here must be eye watering. Idle expensive aircraft just sitting racking up bills, wet leasing half the place out, half empty flights, loss making airfares, glad it’s not my cash.
parts supplier owed a big cheque and overdue told recently “sorry, we are waiting for funds from America and we will try our best to get you paid!”
The perils of operating a tiny fleet with very high costs, and low yielding low demand routes. The revenue only covers the leasing and fuel. I mean, they have stated the case, you don’t make cash from such a small fleet, but that can still sink you before you can even get scale. Looking at some market rates…
6xMAX Lease rates $100,000 day
5000 seats per day, 3000 filled @$120 $250,000 (removing taxes and charges)
Fuel $140,000 day
I mean, I’ll give them credit, they have come out recently advising the importance of profit focus, and where they need to head. But you cannot deny, the house is burning, will require significant injection, which is doubtful looking at events as mentioned above, abroad.
The wet leasing costs would be just eye watering. I’d hate to think. I’ve seen an invoice in the past from a local outfit and I nearly fell over, let alone accomodating a large contingent of Canadians from the mothership.
