Why Was The Thread, "Qantas Pilot Speaks Out" shut down?

Well it was for me.

So much for free speech. Apart from his and my differing views on vaccinations, I through it was a marvelous speach.

I expect corporate greed, won the day. Image and all that c##p.

What led you to believe Pprune was a free-speech platform?

The platform used was YouTube. Prune was the messenger. Let's shoot the messenger.

Neither Youtube nor PPRuNe is a government entity and house rules apply. If you want free speech then create your own forum.

Well, since you didn't post in the thread, what's your problem? Apart from some bizarre notion that you and you alone are denied access to the thread, and that lack of access has something to do with 'free speech' 🤔

It was moved for moderation more than a fortnight ago, and the complexity of dealing with the schoolyard behaviour and hissy fits of many posters means it will remain there until the Mods find the time and willpower to deal with it.
