QFA 752 in Townsville today.

Arrived from Brisbane at lunchtime, extremely hard landing, bounced twice then go arond. Circled overhead for 30 minutes, landed safely. Engineers spent the next three hours going over the whole airframe, cleared to depart at 4.00pm.

I was on the tarmac watching it land. I am just curious if it was windsheer or pilot error.

Its only a bad landing if you don't walk away.

Spinal compression and dental fillings falling out don't count.

Knowing the aircraft type involved would make it marginally more interesting.

Or maybe not.
