RTO @ ALH 22/07 "Temp issue" ??

Anyone have an idea of the issue at ALH this morning Rex Saab340, lined up, rolling then pulled them off. Told it was an "irregular temperature reading" ?? Given prior with the SF340 was this another ITT issue or is that inhibited by the T/O INH function ? Am I correct in my recollection that EGT's warning (Tailpipe hot L + R) are not inhibited? LOOONG time since I did anything on type.
Cheers

“Told”

perhaps the captain exercised his command judgement and rejected to mitigate further risk.

Yes. This is a rumor site. What on earth could be gained from such immediate speculation? RTO’s can be executed for a multitude of reasons- high and low speed.

Told as in Told by Flight Crew as the A/C taxied back to the ramp (sorry should have been clearer) I am VERY aware of the many reasons for an RTO, just natural curiosity when you are involved! cheers

could be overtemp, fluctuations in ITT. My understanding is that the engines are made in SEA now so they're having more issues in QC. I haven't worked for them for quite some time either, I just get spoon-fed stuff from mates now and then.

I thought all engine work was done in house in Wagga, with only stuff that could not be done like major overhauls of the hot section outsourced. Overhauls being the word as the CT-7/9s are no longer "made", just overhauled. CT-7 being a military modular engine, you can just send bits here and there, also extremely robust.
