QF Group possible Redundancy Numbers/Packages
Exactly correct cloudsurfing, in the absence of a vaccine or full containment nation wide.
That would be being worked out as we speak. Those airframes in those bases with those personnel. The company will continue to consult it's employees as it's obligated to do.
Which leaves us with
VR no chance of returning to work, paid in full over a few months.
LWOP a chance of returning to work.
CR everyone else lesser chance of returning to work, paid in full over 5+ years.

I’m someone who learned about 20 years ago (and reinforced at various times since) that what is written on PPRUNE can have a direct impact on you in the workplace. People can choose freely to have their tantrums but they should do so understanding the potential impact that these can have elsewhere.
Correct.
There are several recent legal precedents of employers right to hold employees accountable for material posted behind a pseudonym.
Anonymity doesn’t really exist.
Simple rule that I learned long ago.
Behave in a way that you can look back on with pride , not shame.
No need to stick the boot in

We know the companies position.
We know the associations position.
We know the short haul position.
We know the long haul position.
We know the junior and senior positions.
The rest will be up to the legals if it gets there.
As per the request from that room. That’s it from me on this thread. I’d suggest the genuine employees of the group do the same.

Sure does, loads are over 150 on all flights, only sectors affected are AKL-DUD with a reduced schedule. It will be a go 3+ Months before Australia gets to anything like NZ. Well done over there to them, they did what the gov asked and normality is returning.

have to agree. Domestic travel in NZ is doing really well. Air NZ has had to bring back staff they had originally made redundant. Foran has admitted publicly that they have been surprised by the recovery of the domestic market.

Not criticising, just interesting that one was overly optimistic, one overly pessimistic and they were both wrong!

I think Victoria may have slightly got in the way of Mr Joyce’s predications. The inter state rules have been changing every day.
Well done to NZ...

I was thinking along the same lines as AJ too. No one was thinking there was a second wave just around the corner.
Being based in Melbourne, even as a JQ short haul pilot, I’m thinking that we’re in a similar boat to long haul now. Won’t really get back to work properly till a Vaccine is available in 12-18 months.

So did we, then a low paid security guard, shagged someone in quarantine so they could go to 7-11 and then shared their cigarette lighter with their mates, and we are where we are....
