Wingdriver, guys and gals from all walks of aviation choose to stay or go back to being a S/O for a multitude of reasons. To call them lazy displays a complete lack of understanding of the job and the people who do it.

As a result and on a positive note for those that don't want to be S/O's like myself, it results in getting a front seat much sooner.

It's horses for courses. I wouldn't want to go back to S/O but I don't begrudge those that want or need to stay there. There is more to life than flying airliners!

Cheers mate, I'd hate to hear someone pipe up & say they are truely stretched at 90 odd hours.
