The East Anglia hacked emails "Climategate" had quite a few revaluations about exactly & explicitly how to modify the climate data to achieve the required outcome embedded as comments within the FORTRAN source code: Climatic Research Unit (CRU): CRU's Source Code: Climategate Uncovered.
I'm not denying there aren't problems with burning hydrocarbons, rather questioning the credibility of "scientific" process about this issue. Your experts can still have agenda's & biases. Remember Global Cooling?
