Last night as we were winging our way across the equatorial night sky we flight deck crew were comparing notes on the idiosyncrasies of the P & W R-2000 compared to the R-2800 that I flew when I was a boy. The flight attendant only had time on the R-985 Wasp Jr. which we found both quaint and revealing. Still, we both trusted her to woman the door while we in turn shook hands with the unemployed.
