Another A380 Turnback.
In the big scheme of things maybe it's no big deal on one level, yet to have the QF11 SYD-LAX depart today and return after approx 3 hours over the Pacific due to alleged air-conditioning issues yet again is getting ridiculous.
VH-OQC was the frame and after returning it then departed at 2035 hours.
What is with these aircon issues and the number of A380 turn-backs?
Flight was full and that's got to cost a lot in gas and annoy a lot of punters.
Right aircraft for the fright route? Please.

Family on board the flight said they were told it was an issue with a hatch related to the APU ("small extra engine that provides air conditioning on the ground"?) either coming open or not closing.
Alan obviously ordered the fix itself on the ground model, not the elite, fix itself in flight too!

Simple purchasing errors like the one you have just pointed out need to be rectified before it's too late.
