Abctv reports "melbourne airport has been partially evacuated.
Police confirm that there is an incident taking place"
Numerous twitters from passengers stuck on planes.
Fox FM report it is a federal police operation.
Melbourne airport twitter account @melair say it is a threat to Tigerair, other airlines not affected.
Qantas say there terminal is not affected.
Passengers being bussed off the tarmac.
Tweets from passengers who are stuck on other carriers.
