I'm somewhat surprised no one has commented on this. This is a fairly big thing. Watch this space.

Split the AOC's (already doing this) and then you can sell off Qantas Domestic. It's not covered by the sale act with its own AOC.

Deal done!!!

Codeshares gone crazy.

A simple check of current schedules reveals how crazy this codeshare/interline agreement has become.

On MEL SYD your humble QF flight carries the following codeshare parallel flights, albeit all carriers are not necessarily every flight.

AA BA CZ EK MU and JQ.

It's a good thing they have gone to TV screens rather than the old clacky videfont units as they would be replacing them all once a month from wear and tear and would be facing industrial deafness issues from terminal staff and probably frequent flyers.

Potentially even with the TV screens it could take 30 to 60 seconds for the QF flight number to appear.

We have EK flight numbers out of DPO. Not good - the less erudite of locals don't get it and are wanting to start pop up tea towel shops.

Apart from an extension of the rot and rising damp we have all been experiencing in all sectors of this industry, where does it end?

I don't think we want to know.

Best all
