Jetstar Australia and Thai Cabin crew working conditions

I have heard from a few Jetstar pilots that Jetstar Australia has been slowing swapping out its Australian international flight attendants for contract Thai based flight attendants on most of its international flights out Australia. The most disturbing rumours I have heard is these crew are employed on Thai based contracts allowing them to work 20hr duties and multi sector back of the clock duties in excess of 16hrs on regular occasions. Any JQ guys out able to confirm or deny the rumours and offer some comment.
