Jetstar A330 Engine Failure ex SIN

Jetstar flight turned back after engine failure

And a little more info from this website - sounds more like a precautionary shutdown than a failure. Typical journalistic drama.
Incident: Jetstar A332 near Singapore on May 28th 2014, engine shut down in flight

The outsourceexperiement

Oh the joys of outsourcing engine maint.Once we were hero's now we are zero's.But then again it got a few managers a KPI or two and a big fat pay rise. We are heading towards the bottom.
