They are advertising for crew across there whole fleet. Is that due to expansion or are pilots leaving for other jobs ?

Are they only hiring if you have an endorsement on type?

Will be interesting to see how this one pans out given the supposed wind down of the mining boom.

So for those over there in the west what is the word about the mining boom winding down? Is it happening or not? Have you noticed any changes?

During the boom I recall a sudden overnight increase when Network doubled their wages due to a mass exodus to majors. Long time ago now.

Iracus that's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I'm still getting laughing milage out of that after an hour.

There's plenty in the union... Bit hard to negotiate when the company has no intention of even listening to what has been put on the table Its not a nice place to be!

As far as I'm aware the AFAP is negotiating on behalf of the pilots....

Skippers use to be THE company, back in the day. I'm talking Ann Marie, Dave Kirk' days. It went down hill very quickly in 1995/6 and doesn't seem to have recovered....

Skippers EBA

So is it over yet? Surely it must be by now. I heard that out of the six guys who became committee members, only two remain with the company!

For those lucky four, it is certainly over.

And that is how it will always be with Skippers, your conditions only improve when you leave for less brown pastures

Slam click, AFAP is pretty hopeless at representing pilots in comparison to the TWU. Talk to the guys at Skywest or Cobham about the gains that they have had since they affiliated with the TWU.

Cheers. Yep recognised them from the ground dispute a few years back didn't know they did pilots. What sort of loss of licence do they offer. Went looking couldn't see anything there.
