An aircraft aborted a landing because the preceding failed to vacate/take off fast enough, I'm shocked!

Gotta say that ML approach and ML TWR were working well today. We were at Bolinda (12-ish Nm to run on RWY16) and there were two aircraft in front of us and one about 4 Nm behind. TWR managed to get an Air NZ off on RWY27 before our landing. Our crews who'd arrived earlier described similar traffic density for their arrivals.

So not that suprising if there was a go-around due to an international a/c being slow to vacate the runway.

DIVOSH!
