Illusion.
I thought I was about the only person around that knew this age old story! In fact, my parents have an old Furphy tank at our farm in Victoria. I still remember the days walking around singing "good better best, we will never rest, until our good is better, and our better best!". Something I've modelled my life on and unfortunately, some of my peers have not.
The song was made famous by a then Telcom TV commercial.
It sure is a dark time for aviation. I still remember the days of going to Tulla and looking at the statue of Icarus and mum telling me he flew to close to the sun and his wax melted and he fell to Earth. Maybe I should have taken heed then and learnt from Icarus' mistake.
Remember guys and gals, we all started this journey for very similar reasons. We're ALL on the same team.
Cheers

If Jetstar is sold, what happens?
Jetstar codeshare A LOT with Qantas, surely an investor would like to keep these going..
How would a sale of Jetstar affect the workers? Or would the sale of Jetstar purely strip Qantas of multiple assets and put them in a hard place?
Interested in your thoughts...
