Airbus is the way for Air Van

Hello fellow aviators after a substantial amount of time operating a fantastic machine which the 737 really is. I have heard around the community that an airbus could be on the cards. I for one really think it's the way to go. Would be interested in any airbus guys thoughts.

All the best

Won't happen, they looked into it when they were getting the NG. from what I could gather airbus was going to give them a sim aswell. I believe the clincher was that jet star weren't either able or will to give the same support qantas was.

I think you might find that there will be some change sooner rather than later. I for one think that airbus is really the wat to go for such a wonder carrier that it is. I take it you might have or still work for them Yeti Breath?

I can pretty much confirm that generally almost all of the above is nearly 50 percent correct.

Nearly 50% correct? That means it's MORE than 50% wrong.

I can almost 40% confirm that someone at NF has at one stage or another probably been a passenger on an aircraft that may or may not have been an airbus. Said person probably enjoyed his or maybe her journey. I am almost positive on this, probably.

Wankers. Couldnt look after an Airbus in Vanuatu. No 3rd party contractor in scheduled flight ports to do the maint. Container loading will have major delay probs in the islands. Training of crew that are already well familiar with Boeing. Someone wants an Airbus rating to get out....
