Hit a roo with a Piper Arrow, near Deniliquin NSW on private airstrip, wife on board, and as we came to a shuddering halt, with a couple of damaged fans, her only comment was HOW COULD YOU,THE POOR LITTLE THING, WHY DIDNT YOU SWERVE A BIT, me, speechless, especially as I surveyed the damage with chopped roo everywhere and a blood covered airframe, and as I told her (through clenched teeth) that it could have killed us, all I got was a reproachful look (you all know that one) but she later realised it was a dangerous situation, and all was forgiven.
