SAS Dash-8 accidents
Two SAS Dash-8Q400 suffered right main gear failure within the last couple of days. One in Denmark on Sunday, right MLG collapsed on landing. The other in Latvia this morning, not clear if the same problem or not able to extend gear. No casualties in either thank God but SAS has grounded their Dash-8 fleet. Bombardier has grounded all Q400s in excess of 10,000 cycles for checks. I wonder if Qantas Link is affected?

Here's a link for you.
Just before the crash there's a round of what sounds like machine-gun fire. Whats that about?
But the fire truuck was on standby so they must have known there was a problem.

Anyone know what QLink get out of their Q400s??
if you work on 9 hours a day and an average 1.5 hour sector you get about 2200 cycles per annum, so 4.5 years to 10000 cycles.
