Business Jets at NZAA
Was passing by Auck intl. today, and noticed three Gulfstreams GV's(?) parked on the apron by the lifeflight air ambulance, I know its not uncommon to see one there, but three parked side by side, and another one on approach.... Does anybody know who these belong to and what brings them down this way especially at this time of year.....?

The Gulfsteam IV, ZK-KFB, often parked by Air National is actually owned by Peter Jackson, but operated by Air Nat.
The area near the Lifeflight hangar (Convair Corner) has a corperate jet "terminal", although more like a single story hut. I've seen both N and VH registered jets parked there, along with red carpets.
As for the BBJ on the international apron, I saw that too:
Turns out it is owned by "WELLS FARGO BANK NORTHWEST NA TRUSTEE" aka "Classic Limited Air (Bausch & Lomb)" but apparently this is just a legal sidestep to get around the fact that the actual owner is not an American citizen, since by law, you must be a U.S. citizen to own an N-reg plane
Also spotted N50KC outside Air National, and was invited onboard:
I'd be interested to here more on the subject, searching airliners.net for NZAA shows a surprising amount of small foreign bizjets here.

N50KC, makes or used to make regular visits to Napier as it was owned by the chap who built (or designer of) the Kauri Cliffs Golf resort and the Cape Kiddnappers in the Hawkes Bay.
Dude decided to build Cape Kiddnappers after the completion of Kauri Cliff because it's $1M /hole resort didn't qualify for a PGA rating...
"...monies to tight to mention..."
