Not sure if they have parked jets but I can tell you that QF Mainline have been sorting out ex-RAAF Herc instructors (S/Os on the 747/744) to train guys on the Dash. This is to prevent them having to pay extra bucks for upgrades and training and losing pilots off the line.
Of course those QF mainline guys would say NO because then they would be screwing the poor guys on the Dash who would otherwise be promoted right. I mean thats what the whole whinge about Jetstar is right.....
Think before you press the button - system knowledge is everything.

Yes, Sunstate are currently short of crew, particularly Q400 Captains, with the recent amount of high sick/injury leave.
4 more Captain positions have been awarded this week, but is it too little, too late.

there is no pilot external from Sunstate doing any training at Sunstate

maybe the case currently, and it may never happen, but I can 100% confirm HTW's comments above - some ex Herc QFIs have been approached and asked if they will help out. No carrots dangling however...

Ohhh speedjet.... I hope you are not one to be blindsided. The QF 767 Training manager runs training for the Dash.
If you're on a golf course and someone calls FOUR you might want to take note.

Why would you want to pay for training?
Unless youre desperate to get into a regional? Appropriate for Oz as well as the states.

Many good reasons not to work for a regional

Here I was reading about the low salaries of Ozzie pilots, if those figures are correct they are terrible and there can't be to many RPT pilots in Oz earning that sort of coin, or are there?

Is that the pay, or the endo cost?
