Cathay Recruiting for Australian Bases

It appears that Catahy are recruiting FO's for an Australian base according to an add in Flight International. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this, but here is the link http://www.flightglobal.com/Jobs/200...Australia.html .

I understand the pay is less than a CX SO but at least you get a window seat...

If it were for freight it would have said so, truth is the Company and AOA are in talks at the moment about DEFO's on to pax fleet. Am sure CX have kept a close eye on what guys are willing to work for in Oz, ie J* International, and will now no doubt try a new lower payscale.

I understand the pay is less than a VB F/O, does the window still look good?
I have also heard the same as Team America, this is for DEFO on pax fleet.
Rumours of DEC's to follow due to high failure rates of command upgrades....

Enemas Dad I don't think there is any agreement, but understand some QF staff may have applied.

Z Force Everything you need to know is in "Fragrant Harbour Wannabees" if you need a holiday from D&G.

If DEC's on "A" scale rates of pay are on offer then Qantas would be supplying the pilots.
