Angel

There are plenty of fruitcakes around, and it seems that Robert John Walker is well qualified to be listed as one.
But what that has to do with the new Adelaide Terminal, heavens only knows.

(Where are those Woomeri when they're needed? )

Morning all.

One thing seems to have been missed.
Poor old adl was the only capital city NOT to have been redeveloped under the old FAC when airports were paid for by the guvmint!
If my memory serves me correctly even Darwin was built by the FACS.
So adl residents who paid tax missed out, and now all passengers have to pay for the "privilege" of using what was government owned property, leased to private enterprise, which then charges again.

Am I missing something?

Hope Santa has some nice fuel filters in his sack.

By the way, agree adl backwater, murder capital etc etc. Lived here all my life, but its that fine old balance of lifestyle innit?

Poor old Adelaide---always gets a hiding

What can you do in Melbourne and Sydney that you cant do in Adelaide.
I reckon its great-----$15 10 minute ride to airport
$400,000 house with in 10 minutes to city centre.

Traffic not a problem although everytime i go there its seems to be getting worse.

As for the airport,i like the old one.You have to walk to the plane--big deal-but from taxi rank to boarding is only 100 yards.
You can have a drink ,meal, buy something to read, find a seat etc.
What else is needed.

Ive stuffed up numerous times in Sydney on connecting flights, and walked miles in Melbourne ,so ill vote for Adelaide anyday

Ok, firstly I should say that I think Adelaide is my favourite overnight and if I could get used to the water, wouldn't be a bad place to live.

Now, does anybody know the latest on the new terminal? Fuel problems resolved??
