I think that this is a QantasLink Dash8-100 which is going to Air New Guinea. I believe that Air NG is taking a total of eight -100s as QF Link replaces them with -300s & later the -400s

That Sydney white Dash 8 -100 (QRA :Queensland Regional Airlines), seen throughout Indonesia.
Heard with an "Aussie" call sign, so must be on Tsunami relief work, based out of Penang/Butterworth - Malaysia i believe.

Angel

The wantoks were in Devonport yesterday in P2-MCH I heard. I'm sure they can do charter anywhere in Australia if the charter originated from PNG. Who knows ? QRA may even have CASA approval to use a PNG registered machine on charter in Australia for whatever reason.

That's correct, Cheesedick.
"Aussie085", along with the RAAF Hercs and Super King Air, wrap up all Aussie Tsunami ops into Indonesia, from Butterworth this weekend.
Homeward bound, yiharh!
