Anderson to be attacked in marginal seats.

From an excellent source in Canberra today:

A seriously funded attack on marginal National Seats in Hinkler- Richmond and Lyne this federal election.

Paul Neville, Larry Anthony and Mark Vaille targetted.

Possibly 2 or more candidates per seat and motivated by recent Airservices and CASA / Ministerial matters.

The name Dick Smith was not mentioned with the bankrollers.

Minister for QF

What about the Minister for Qantas himself. Is he in a too safe seat. I'd love to see him out of a job. Might have to call in some favours

More;

Very GA related and a lot of West Australian and Queensland money is involved.

Some people very miffed with the Airservices debacle and recent CASA internal moves with a certain "legal eagle" being put in charge of regulatory reviews, especially when it is the OLC making the rules.

Byron has had some sort of ultimatum from a large delegation including Airlines, Engineering and GA, which could bite him with a political comeback through the Senate.

No confirmation of original assesment that DS is not involved.

Whoop! Whoop! Wind up alert..........!!!!!!

"This is the (wishful thinking) voice of AOPA calling.........."

I seriously doubt Sultanas and Gin would be able to access "an excellent source in Canberra" anymore, particularly considering their pro NAS, pro DS stance.

Oh, well, at least this is a Rumour network!

Bloody Reds under the bed too? Crikey, think about it a bit mate.

Why wouldn't any self respecting political party or millionaire with a gripe, have a go at this Minister in the marginal seats?

Given this, the rumour could easily be credible. Those three seats are VERY marginal for the Nats.

If poor old Dick can't be blamed, it must be AOPA who you give an awful lot of attention to for an insignificant rabble.

Do you reckon this Minister deserves a win this coming election?

List his achievements for us all if you would.
