As you can see on another thread on this forum, the sky may indeed "fall in" on cash-strapped operators.
AsA is about to hire 50, yes 50 more controllers, at a cost to industry- yes industry , because I'm tipping the govt will still get it's profit this year - of some 5 mill annually. And guess what? Dick Smith was told this would happen, over and over, and given the reasons, over and over, (on this forum for one) yet continued on with this crap.

It's a worse system, and it's going to cost you and me more to operate it.

Some might say that the sky is, indeed, falling, when someone like him is running the show.

Dick, since you are making postings on Pprune again, can I ask you to take a few minutes of your time to respond to several questions raised on the previous page of this thread?

Still haven't found the guts to admit that your initial posting on Class E procedures was wrong?

Still haven't found the honesty to admit that you were wrong in relation to the causation of what you characterised as a 'horrific' incident?

Still haven't found the integrity to have another look at your ideas and judge them 'on the facts' - as you invite the rest of the world to do?

Still haven't been able to find any facts to support your assertations, apart form 'beliefs' and 'feelings'?

When will you act to correct this 'horrific' and 'basically criminal' situation - which you have now discovered to your 'horror' that you did not understand and which you got wrong?

You made defamatory remarks about both the controllers and the pilots involved. It then became obvious that it was your airspace model which was the problem. Everyone involved followed the procedures exactly, yet a 'horrific' incident still occurred.

When will you admit that you understood neither the US procedures nor the flawed provedures introduced in Australia?

If people die as a result of these procedures, who will you blame then?

Come on, you have hidden behind silence for long enough. Summon some guts and reply to your own thread.
