About to have an interview with GANS. Anyone have any experience from interviews with them? Is it just to assess if they will offer an APC or something else? Feel free to PM me any info, thanks.

It went well. I was invited to assessment, but had to decline since receiving another offer from another employer shortly after.

how long from the interview until they informed you that you’re shortlisted for the assesment?
Hope this helps. |

I received all the documents and information for theoretical assessment just the day after the interview. The assessment (online) was scheduled to happen within a week. After that we were supposed to agree on a date for practical assessment (APC) within 48 hours at the training facility in Al Ain. No clue when it would actually happen if I went through with it. But the pacing seemed incredibly fast and stressed to be hones. Also, you are expected to pay for all expenses relating to the APC yourself.
Hope this helps. |
So since the guys seem to be crazy about documents (required of me spent half my day filling them up with nonsensical questions) even before any interview, which is way opposite any experience I had previously where CV and the basic documents (licence etc) were more than enough even after the exercise up to singing the contract… while offering no info in return so I guess they expect me to waste a lot of my time with the high chance that I’ll be unhappy with the salary and benefits they offer… but I digress:
I just want to confirm if anybody knows. What’s the salary and package of radar approach Dubai with gans and if they really don’t pay travel expenses for training/exercises? thanks |

you’re right, its Abu Dhabi which is incredibly close to Dubai that’s why I mixed them up, but my question still stands.

I miss the good old days when an ATCO made 30.000 euros per month, net of taxes of course. |
