Share House Melbourne
Hi there
I’m also starting Dec 6 as enroute Brisbane based. I’ll have the accomodation issue for down there, if anyone is in a similar boat and wants to get a share house together please PM me. Congrats and good luck to you all. |
Received my verbal offer today for an en route course in late March. I'm very excited and this is perfect timing for me. December would have been tight to make happen.

Anyone applied recently? I just completed the online testing. Waiting for response now.

Hi all,
Congrats to those who got through the last round of applications! I have just completed the video interview. Was just wondering if you guys could provide more info about what the assessment day involves! Cheers |
Online testing
Hi everyone, can someone please tell me the difficulty level of online testing as compared to SHL free test assessments as i scored very badly ( around 40% ) in them. Just need to figure out if it's worth pursuing or not.
|
Good luck Lucy Wu.
Pilot_ATC, make sure you get a good nights rest. Its a good experience and something you will enjoy. Good luck. :) Stuggler 2, I would suggest working on the SHL assessments. If you have already put an application in and have been invited to participate in the online testing then you may as well give it a red hot crack. Withdrawing or not making it past the online testing both count as one of your two application attempts. Good luck. :) |

Online Testing
Hey guys,
In regards to the online testing, can someone confirm to me if the maths component is "Numerical Calculations" (As written in the ASA email) or is it "Numerical Reasoning". Thanks for anyone's help... |

Anyone pass the online SHL tests and have now been told about a series of new online tests? Seems to be different to the online virtual assessment day that others were given. New step??
|
Hey everyone,
Just to let you know if you were interested, I applied on the 15th Nov 2021, then received instructions to do online testing on the 3rd of December which I completed this past Tuesday (the 7th). Then today (10th) I received 3 separate emails with instructions to do another set of online tests. This caught me a bit off guard as I thought the next step would be a video interview, and then an (online via Teams?) assessment centre? Has anyone else been involved in this process during the past few weeks? Anyone know how these second tests are? Cheers, Gav |
Hey TYFY_resilience , you inbox says its full mate. Tried replying to your message. Cheers, Gav
|
Tried again... Cheers.

From the information session that was run recently I believe the current online recruitment process contains two different sets of online testing from SHL and Domain.

Greetings guys, first post here. Was wondering how the application process goes for the "Expression of Interest" listing air services have on their website for air traffic control trainee?
|
Hey guys.
Is there somewhere that outlines what's involved in obtaining a class 3 medical certificate? im nervous as ive put on a few covid kgs |
Hey Allyjay,
Have you completed the online tests and received your feedback already? I applied in the mid November run, and am busy with second round of assessments at the moment. 5 down, 2 to go. When did you apply? Cheers! Gav |
Has anyone done the online assessment virtually and can give me a heads up about what to expect?
==================================== |
Hey guys,
For those that did the application process for the mid-September cycle (@Corza is that you?), did some get offers to start in December (last week), and some in March? I am just trying to gauge how long the process takes. I have done the second round of online assessments, cut off date was tomorrow the 17th. Hoping to figure out timeframes from here on. Anyone have a timeline of events? @DavidBall1884, I have done them, but there is no way to accurately explain to you what to expect anyway. There is no way to give yourself an edge over other applicants either. Your brain is either going to function in that way or it isn't, and everything is against the clock. I have no idea how I did. Its just a wait and see (and hope to high heaven) exercise now I guess. I wish you well in the tests mate. Good luck! |

I would say a couple of days after you should hear back, but that being said we are close to Christmas and most Government organisations have a couple of weeks stand down for non frontline employees. |
Ah thats great man, congrats!

Any chance if you could tell what's the next step would be, if I make through this. regards |

Hey mate, spatial being the radar one with the flying numbers? I had quite a few collisions, mostly near the edges of the screen but yes I didn't save all of em.
As for the cognitive ones, I didn't finish either one. I think I managed to get most of the way through the first, and did 41 out of the 50 on the second. Not sure at all what the benchmark is here. My only hope is that all of us managed about the same. |
