Bris assessment centre went well, was quite enjoyable meeting the other candidates and chatting with the assessors. This morning I got an email from XRef so that seems like a good sign... fingers crossed

Out of interest, how many day/timeslots were there for the brisbane assessment centre? In melbourne here we had 4 sessions total with 6 people in each

Got my formal offer for the NZ course via email a few hours ago, apparently there are 4 others being sent over from Aus to meet me here. I assume they send the offers in batches, so if you guys are in the same intake hopefully the emails won’t be too far off.

Congrats! From what I heard about the NZ course at the assessment centre the first 10 weeks of theory content are conducted online, then the remainder is in person in Christchurch, followed by a couple of weeks finishing at the Airservices academy in Melbourne. Does this match what you have been told? It's a bit of relief that if I were to get offered this course, I won't have to relocate immediatly.

There’s a massive section on confidentiality in the employment contract. You’re welcome to DM me if you like. All the best for your application!

Just gate the stage 1 testing - had a 4-5 collisions total across both the radar sim tests and I could not make it through all the detail accuracy and coded reasoning questions! So little time - did anyone find the same? I cou;ld only make it through about 30 of the coded reasoning questions!

fernandobale 7th April 2025 00:25

From memory there was only 30 coded reasoning questions, i completed 25 only, i guess i got them all right coz i dont think i wouldve passed otherwise. so a 25/30 accuracy seems around the mark

I am sure I had 50 questions! I had to completely block out the time to focus on trying to get the questions right, you need to be really quick. How soon after giving the tests did you hear back from them?

Alpha0203 7th April 2025 05:40

Hello everyone!

I am new to the forum, just got through to the Stage 2 Interrupt Test and the test will take place next week.

Is there anything I can prepare beforehand and what types of questions can we expect in the test?

Thank you guys!

As badsolver mentioned a few days orientation / onboarding in Melbourne at the end of the month, then the course begins the first week of May.
