I completed S1 of the new recruitment process last Friday 17th May and I haven't heard anything back yet regarding the results.

Does anyone know who done S1, how long do they take to let you know the outcome?

Hey there, took me 2 days to get a reply after my stage 1. Though to be fair if there is someone who looks over and processes the first stage you may have to wait another day or two as they could be working days so to speak. Hope you get a reply soon and good luck! :)

Hi there! Have you heard anything about stage 3? The info I got was that all dates for 2019 was fully booked so we will have to them next year?

Next year?! I sat the stage 2 in April, got an invite for stage 3 at the very start of May and managed to get booked for 10th June. Either there are a huge number of people passing stages 1 and 2 or they are massively limiting the size and frequency of stage 3 dates.

I'd keep checking every week or so and see if any open up due to drop outs/NATS opening them.

I hope the interviews going to be sometime this year, not sure I can stand another 7+ months in my current job waiting on an interview :P

From what others have said, even if you pass stage 3, the course start dates aren't until Jan 2020 at the earliest. Then again, working a long notice is better than not knowing haha

As Trev mentioned a few posts ago, drop outs do happen.
I found out I'd passed in October '18, and I finally start in July. Yes, the wait has been mildly excruciating, but if it's right for you, then the inconvenience will hopefully be a distant memory!

You said the march course is more probable. Is that the CTC course (Whiteley)?

Anyone know what date the Global course in July starts this year?

Those are the 2019 dates for Global not 2020. Those are also Globals own course dates. Not NATS dates.

Today I got an email from NATS confirming that all Stage 3 dates for 2019 were full and I will be invited for Stage 3 in 2020. They've "received an overwhelming number of applications". Doesn't sound too good for the probability to get in :) but it's worth a shot, right.

Got an email today stating that due to the high number of aplicants this year I won't be doing my stage 3 until 2020 now. No big deal glad to have it cleared up and gives me something to look forward too in the new year now! :)

You've got to remember that this cohort of applicants also includes people who have failed over the last 12 months who would have normally had to wait a year before applying again, plus I'm sure the added convenience of being able to complete a lot of the process from home will have enticed a few curious folks too.

Remain positive though, you've achieved a lot just getting through to stage 3 and whilst you may have to wait, there will always be a position for the right candidate. Irrespective of how many people attempt stage 3, the process is set up only pick the applicants with the right attributes and if you tick all the boxes it doesn't matter how many pass or fail prior to your own interview.

They've two choices - go through the full process now and wait months on a start date because of instructor availability or slow the recruitment process down so you get into training sooner after Stage 3. Seems like they've gone for the latter

Just be confident in yourself and have a good night sleep :). Tomorrow remember to not get discouraged by any missteps and don't overthink any particular question or task, don't second-guess yourself - whatever result might be you will have gained new precious life experience :)

Please, could you explain how it the process once you have finished please? It will be very interesting to know a little of bit more about the group activity, the personal interview, etc.
