Delays again at Heathrow

Well, it's becoming a regular thread........did the travelling public enjoy the 45 minute holding this morning due to sickness in the tower. 4 mile spacing from first thing this until 1300.

Will NATS be fined for this I wonder?

Maybe everyone is being overworked and are more susceptible to illness.

Heh.....I was in good spirits cause I was thinking of the good spirits I was going to indulge in that afternoon

Actually, to be fair, 5 people sick is someting you can't really plan for (unless you find 5 AVA's......*wink*). It was amusing when a BA in the hold asked what sort of sickness it was in the tower so they could tell the SLF what the reason for the delay. Should have told them Point 7 is sick in the head!!!!

Jerricho....

Sadly P7 is the sanest one.

It was Spunky (amongst others) who were/are sick!
Spirits?......Didn't think people from your next of the woods gave a XXXX for anything else!!!

Panic not my friend: I said you were the sanest - not completely sane!

Jerricho

Mate she knows a good thing when she sees it. Unlike poor old Mrs. Jerricho.

I mean she thinks she's in for a return to good old Oz and instead freezing to death in the Arctic Tundra awaits.

Regrets?
I've had a few,
And so I face.....

P7 - good to see you defending 'er indoors!

I used to be the same with the long suffering Mrs B-L. The honeymoon period will soon disappear though!

P7, I'm just joshing.........we all know you're going to be the second best husband in the world, which ain't a bad thing!

And Cam, I'm sure a few guys from the Tower of Power will aid in you quest for that pony.....what with P7's now famous £15k "retainer" payment, they should have a little spare cash lying about...........unless they have p*ssed is up against the wall!

That lot couldn't drink if there lives depended upon it (apart from Spunky of course)

Though it is said they drunk the BMI lounge dry once.

Pure speculation though I think.

JC's in the Tower
Oh, what a joy!
"Good Moaning Air France
Push Approved old boy".

Two Dovers wheels up
The work of a star
Storming to work
In his blue TVR.

But alas the day came
He became a cropper
"Cleared to lift!"
To the SAS chopper.

But the legend lives on
In a Tower far away
Let's hope he's happy
And the ponies have hay.
