NATS Prestwick technical information

Hi,
Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place.
I've applied for an Engineer position at NATS Prestwick and I'm trying to find out any information regarding any major technical installs / upgrades that are happening there at the moment.
I can't find any information on their website or social media.
Any information would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.

You’ll struggle to get someone from NATS to answer directly your question on the basis of an application for a role, on an anonymous rumour/public forum, for business, security and employment reasons. NATS shares this level of detail with customers and key stakeholders but via its customer website that is also inaccessible to the general public too.

A higher level of detail is available if you know where to look, and of course what you’re looking at. Have a look at appendix B of https://www.caa.co.uk/media/rstjxs4i...ublication.pdf as it contains a high level description of what NERL ‘asked’ for funding to deliver and if you follow the process see if there’s an update on the investment content in the many other documents.

If you’re experienced and have an idea of the role, you should be able to get a flavour of the big changes planned and where NATS may expect to deliver it, but the detail isn’t there. Don’t be too focussed on big changes either. Sustainment in our industry is a big deal and can be just as complex as ‘big changes’.

If/when you are invited for interview, ask for a site visit and/or a chat with an engineering manager and have your research questions ready to go.

Good luck … RT

Thanks very much for replying RT.
There are several technologies and systems that are reasonably new that are mentioned on their website but are more likely to be used in several locations, not just at the Prestwick centre.
I know some of the companies that they have worked with and what systems they have jointly delivered.
I will have a thorough read and do plenty more research.
Thank you very much. P
