I'm very sorry to report the death of my old friend John Cant, ex Fairoaks, Heathrow ATC, Dan-Air, BA and GAMA.

Last saw him at a LL nostalgia evening a couple of years (?) ago. Great respect for the way he worked his way up.
Worked on the Guinness stand with him and other good guys but can't tell the stories on a public forum!

Sad day

I last saw John as the Captain of my British Airways Boeing 737 to St Petersburg. Good Guy.

I was on D Watch @ Heathrow with John 1970-72. Visited him at home in Harrow a couple of times then didn't see him again until he came to the Tower at Liverpool in the late 80's - he was on the night mail flights one Friday while waiting for his curry (that's another story!). As DC10RealMan says, a good guy.
