Low cost ADS-B ground station?

ADS-B "ground stations" were ten a penny in the UK. I have one sitting next to me - about as big as two packets of cigarettes and it plugs into my PC. It's a very, very simple box of tricks but remember that it is line of sight only.

Just pointing out that the RTL-SDR conversation started happening around post #5 and generated about 10 posts... then all those posts were moderated out... then happened again a few days later with a completely new batch of contributors and another 10 posts... note their absence...
