Which college?

Hi all, after much nagging my boss has decided to promote me from an assistant to a controller (hooray!) He's asked me if I like the look of Cwmbran or Gloucester more. I'm sure it'll eventually come down to whichever is cheapest, but any comments? Cheers

I can't answer your question, but just to offer my congratulations and wish you all the luck in the world. Lots of work ahead, but well worth it in the end..

Havent been to either but friends who have done both prefer the Wales option-better tower sim and more professional approach>pop up and see them

Horses for courses

Gloucester is a nicer area. Cwmbran a bit too close to Swansea.

I have heard that some people have had issues with one of the (Chief?) instructors at Gloucester - but I think he does the APS courses.

Not sure which is the better student accommodation - perhaps a visit to both (possible in a single day - they are very close to each other.)

Worth the trouble if your boss is willing to spend the money. Both will get you through the course if you put the work in I think.

Gotta brush up on your geography Lincolnlass, Cwmbran is nowhere near Swansea, it's closer to Bristol.

Swansea is closer to Cwmbran than Lincoln that's for sure!

I would highly recommend Cwmbran for ADI and a basic course, if you needed one. Cwmbran isn't too far away from Cardiff, if you are staying at weekends but Cwmbran town centre has all the things you would need!
