Perth ATC - Western Australia
Why is it so hard for the guys in the tower at Perth to provide the service they are trained and employed to provide?
1 x King Air (calibration aircraft) and they wouldn't let anything else into Class C??
Don't they teach "aircraft separation" at ATC school anymore?
Compare the webtrak Perth to other cities in Australia and we have the least amount of traffic in the country, yet if something's overhead YGEL then they kick every other aircraft our of the zone.
WTF over?

You have to understand that aussie atc is so bogged down in rules and regulations to protect management that it make doing the work 15000 times harder than it should be. No one wants any responsibility so controllers are always left holding the bag of **** at the end of the day.
This leads to less than optimal performance because any controller who even looks out side the box to solve a problem is instantly castrated by fearful management.

Sandy beaches, awesome surf, great wine (and the weather that makes it possible) and free transport in the city. As long as they don't run out of water, if they need a hand, sign me up...
