Fuel Savings

Do Airlines actually save money on track shortenings.
If they do, how much and is this mentioned anywhere
especially in their profit reports.
Why is it organisations like IATA do not even bother
to acknowledge this fuel saving efforts by ATC?

Their reps go all over to campaign for 1 min savings per flight.
Correct me if I am wrong.

I understand that shaving a track meter off a SID/STAR or adding extra miles to a flex track can save a million billion litres of kerosene per kilicam, but track shortening by ATC is unwelcome and actually costs everybody extra...
