farnborough Radar Visit?

Hey All!

I started writing this earlyer but I think PPRUNE crashed?

A few months ago I visited Swanwick control centre an amazing day - I was wondering if Farnborough did the same thing? - Who's a good person to contact/ ask/ beg/ bribe? - I have started NAV in my PPL training so am talking to Farnborough quite a lot! - Would be cool to see what the area they work in etc is like

Thanks

Tom

I'm trying to arrange a visit there too as I currently work just on the other side of the airfield. I actually have a friend who is an ATCO there and he is trying to arrange something. Once I hear back from him I'll see if I can find out the name of who best to contact.

I've just bought a house in Farnborough and would be interested in seeing what goes on, any sort of visit would be welcome.

As a PPL(H) who uses Farnborough a lot, if there was a visit available I would definitely make the effort to go down and see life on the other end of the radio!

Thumbs up

Chaps,

Give Farnboro' Radar a call, I have been on a few occasions, and they are more than happy to show you around.
