A few years ago I did a Fam Flight out of Gatwick with Dan Air in a Comet.

It was November 5th. We arrived back early evening. From the cockpit the fireworks were easily visable on approach. Quite spectacular.

Ok, Ok guys thanks for reminding me that I'm getting old.

It was in 1971. Seems just like yesterday which is what worries me !!
