AAVA Deal

Why has it not been withdrawn? I thought it would be withdrawn if our pension was in jeopardy!

Possibly because your union reps are GM Wannabes?

GMWTB,

I'm sure then that you've put a motion demanding such action to Conference......

There is nothing to stop anyone withdrawing themselves from the AAVA agreement i.e don't do em!

The V is voluntary afterall!

Stupendous, you are quite correct but there are those that will feel like they are losing out if they decide to not do any whilst somebody else does. By the whole scheme being pulled, nobody gets a piece and NATS management get a big reality check. But I don't suppose our "unIon" will go for that, not when they are "working together"

I thought the current AAVA deal ran out at the end of the pay deal - in December 2008.

no we somewhat foolishly in my opinion agreed to move the agreement so that it no longer coincided with pay, I think it extends to the end of 2009.

apparently management are looking for a quick 12 month pay deal this year which would bring them back into line though

Not sure but I think the AAVA agreement runs until 2011- not good.
