Some Questions about becomeing a Controller
Helo everyone!
I'm 19 now and live in Hungary. i'm planning to become an Air Traffic Controller here at home or in any foreign countries in Europe.
Probably i will have final exams of Chemistry(advanced level), Biology Maths, Literature, History and English.Probably first i will go to university, and than i will start to learn Air traffic controll...
So my question is that must i become a ATCA first???
Whith a chemyst diploma, can i go to ATC??
Must i even have a diploma to become a controller?

no
Of course you can, but it's not going to help you get through particularly.
Not in the UK, I don't know about eurocontrol or hungary though, but I would imagine it's similar.

A degree will not get you into ATC, aptitude will. I work in the Institutional trsaining environment and have seen many students who, academically, are very good, but they cannot transfer those skills to the job. Try either Hungarocontrol or better still Eurocontrol, website, www.eurocontrol.int and go from there. Good luck!
