Collision Course (1979)
Plot Outline:
Dramatisation of the events leading to the Zagreb air disaster and the subsequent trial of the air-traffic controllers.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0888489/
Anyone can help?
I remember watching it. It was I believe filmed at Bailbrook (or wherever the IAL ATC School was then) as (according to what I was told at the time) NATS declined fiilming facilites due to the (as usual) fact the producers refused to let them see the script in advance.

how bout the book
there is a book about this accident and the subsequent trials....
Zagreb 14 by Richard Weston and Ronald Hurst. published by Aronson 1982
its excellent, but hard to get. i eventually found it on amazon. Weston was one of the lawyers for the family of one of the BA crew. but ended up representing Tasic after the initial trial

The external shots of Zagreb Centre were reputed to be Bolton Town Hall, which apparently bore a striking resemblance to it.
I remember the documentary - I was an Area controller in the Gulf at the time and it made my blood run cold.
I also still have a copy of 'Zagreb 14'. I lent it to a colleague last year and he too commented what a sobering read it was.
