What a bunch of Mugs

I couldn’t wait to get home from work today to try out my Swanwick Mug. What wonderful technology! On the instruction slip inside we are told that the design has been inspected no less than 7 times to ensure the best possible quality. If only the vccs had been made to the same standards!
I was even more happy when after pouring hot water into the mug that it didn’t turn into the colour of the nats logo.

Why would a mug be inspected 7 times for quality? Its a mug isn't it? Seriously, are NATS paying people to inspect it 7 times or is this just a joke? Where's my Christmas bonus?

Point an admin in the direction of the doppelganger and they'll be "invited" to change user name.

251 kts might be suitable. Or 249 kts if you're usually below 10,000ft.

If 250 kts has had his handle pinched, perhaps the mugs were not checked thoroughly enough!

Well, to be pedantic, the new guy's actually 25 'oh' KTS, and not zero.....so maybe he's measuring a very, very, overcast sky?

I don't care. I'm just thinking that why would any other poor s*d want to be possibly mixed up with my ramblings.

We were given glass tankards at Heathrow for some reason - usual thing.. arrive on watch: "Grab yourself a free beer glass - they're in that plastic dustbin over there.."

OK, it had a NATS logo etched on it but on closer inspection it was precisely identical in every way to a tankard I got free with 5 gallons of Esso!!!

NATS never, ever, got pressies right.

Hey HD! That's a bit harsh. The canteen of cutlery I got for my 25 years is very good. Mind you I did choose it myself!! It was the unceremonious way I had to collect it from the stores in the basement at West Drayton that got me.

Were you able to revert to your West Drayton mug, which you had kept just in case?

I got given a pen one year and a mug a couple of years later.
My manager got a $20,000 bonus followed by another $20,000 bonus.
