Dubai - OMDB ' Hands are Tied excuse' - ONE DAY TO GO

Dubai - OMDB - ('Hands are TieD excuse') - ONE DAY TO GO
hi folks,

HOLD YOU BREATHS - The BIG DAY has Finally ARRIVED.........Another HIT or MISS??? - HOLD YOUR BREATHS....

Tomorrow shall we go to CC with empty stomachs & empty wallets????

The question is, are we going to waste our time there & hear a load of B***S***?? or finally get the goodies as rumoured???

We have had enough of different excuses lately, so let's see what on the Cards.....

Some resignations have been put on 'HOLD', for now... but if it's not THIS TIME, expect the RECORD of MASS Resignations to keep INCREASING!!

On paper, OMDB Traffic Movements together with Cargo & Passenger statistics RECORDS are broken each year.......

Lets hope that the RECORD of RESGINATIONS is not broken FURTHER!!!

In the meantime,

HOLDING MY BREATH!!

I doubt anything at all will happen, because management are always happy with the status quo. I think things would change very quickly in the middle east if only 5 or more people would have the balls to resign at the same time from a unit. The problem seems to be that people from certain countries are desperate to avoid going home, and thus are willing to accept anything management throws at them

I reckon you might be pleasantly surprised!!!! SERCO has to do something, DCA have authorised more money, just wonder how much will find its way to the workers?????

So Futr kafe shop Dweller, how much would be enough to tempt you back?

I will do my calculations, but will need to be a large wedge of dough!!!!!

Hello Mr. Eagle,
The point I was trying to make, (unsuccessfully, it seems) is that resignations and lack of recruitment are the only reason the middle east has seen any pay increase at all. And yet you can still see people on these forums congratulating themselves on staying put and telling others to hang in there because things will surely get better. Maybe things have improved, but the major reason for that have been the people who've had the backbone to say enough is enough.
You're certainly correct in saying that everyones entitled to the same opportunity, and if I was recruiting, I would certainly try to get cheap, uncritical workers with long term plans

happy atco

Congrats to the management of Serco Dubai who have rocketed ATCOs to the world leaders in remuneration. Send in your CVs and get in line and enjoy the life here if it works for you. Be sure there will be a line up now. All you ATC providers suck it up and pay your ATCOs accordingly. We finally got what we're worth and this is the standard you should follow

Yeh come on spill the beans! I guess it beats our 40k a month then? Back pay or pay from Jan 1st? I am glad if the package raises the bar again cos it may not happen overnight but generally the benefits flow on to other contracts, especially when guys here start brushing off their approach tickets and start going to OMDB.

BTW does an improved package and two runways mean that you will take 10 NM's through all gates all the time like we used to have back in the glory days a few years ago??? Don't answer it was a rhetorical question.

Anyway well done on whatever it was, and glad to hear you got drinks to wash down the good news with.

Question what did you get

I am looking to move from my cold climate, but with falling $US worried pay increase may not be enough.

can any of you Dubai guys fill me in on what new money and conditions are please.
