New ATC member here

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Canadian ATCO, I'll save naming the center for now, but high level enroute controller dealing with mostly NAT traffic.

And very trying it is too. 5/6 in the circuit on RW30 with IFR ins and outs on the crossing RW25 anybody? Throw in a few helicopters and we're really laughing - not.

Fortunately it's not like that every day, plenty of feet on the desk time!

Never met Al. Anyways Sport, weren't you supposed to cross train on YQT Terminal? They seemed a bit short of numbers this summer.

Ahhhhh... VFRs

Aren't they fun?

Nothing like one of our (very) french speaking Québec Pilots practicing his english R/T when you're busy.

Here's the trick for VFRs: Say "Roger!" a lot.

Now, take away the suspense CDN_ATC! Can't you see it's killing us... well it isn't really but...

Where're you at?

SAO

That would be Moncton, New Brunswick. Located near scenic Riverview, where the autumn colours must be brilliant by now!

Do you know Mr. Oxner or Scooter Magee?

They probably don't remember me, as I was one of several old grey-haired
types on a fam tour a while back. Somewhat complex airspace to work, given your FIR boundaries. CZQM does seems like a great place to work, as your staff appears top-notch.

Best regards
