Stage 1
Jacdoy101
I sat Stage 1 on the 18th and have not heard anything yet either. I am sure the HR lady said 2/3 days.
How many questions did you answer on the last two tests. I did 38/50 and 36/40 not sure if this was enough?
Anyone else?

Also sat on 18th! Not sure to be optimistic or pessimistic! Left about 8 on P1 but finished P2.
Fingers crossed! It was all a bit hit and miss!
I'll keep you updated from my end.

Stage 3
Hello.
I was invited to attend stage 3 on 1.11.2012. I am of course very happy, but one thing keeps me on edge. I recieved 2 emails, one of them was totally empty, in the other one the link to interview FAQ was broken. So the only info I got is the date and time and to dress smart. I would love to know if there is something im missing out on.
If not, I am perfectly happy, but if there is some piece of info I dont have, plz let me know guys. Thanks Much!

Stage 1 18th oct

The HR lady did say that although it says 15 days they were aiming to turn them around a lot quicker and we should hear in a few days, we have had the week end though so it's only been 3 days up till now . I did 46/50 of the diagramming and was pretty confident, the cubes threw me a bit but still managed 36/40, slightly less confident on them though. From some of the people I have spoke to, it is as much about accuracy as it is speed. Hopefully we will hear something tomorrow !

Still waiting to hear?
Just a heads up for anyone who reapplied in July, I emailed HR because I hadn't heard anything since then apart from the standard 'Thank you for your application for the above position. We are currently considering your application and will contact you as soon as possible'.
I felt that I wasn't alone in not hearing anything so let it slide thinking that they were inundated. However it is now the middle of October and so I decided to send a quick e-mail to HR.
Turns out they have no record of me re-applying in July even though I have the email confirming it.
I have been advised to reapply again which I intend to do but if it has happened to me how many others out there are affected?
If you are still waiting to hear, drop them an email to see if they have lost your application too......

I dont understand something
There is 'Air Traffic Control for Candidates at...'
- page 5: Class C! airspace (...) above FL195 in the London and Scotish FIR
- page 6: Airspace above FL245 is classified now as class C
So ? FL 195 ? or FL 245 - slightly different...

Ahh congrats guys! I'm genuinely really happy for you all and I guess it shows that I really shouldn't be down-hearted at all for failing at my first attempt... althought I'd be lying if I said I wasn't upset about falling at the first hurdle! Just like you guys though I am determined to try and try again and hoprfully with the experinces I will be less nervous next time and of course now that I know what to expect I can practice until my next attempt.... How long is it I have to wait though as some people are saying it could only be 6 months??

@Harida5a
I think the reason it says that is because high level airspace used to be classified as A (and possibly B for TRAs?), I'm sure the people around here who actually are ATCOs (unlike me who is still not even in training, waiting for english test results and hopefully if I pass them a course allocation) can clarify that.
So basically above Fl195 you have class C airspace, and used to have Class B for TRAs and A for Airways above FL245, but to harmonise the airspace everything above FL245 is now class C.
At least that's how I understood it.
