Booked a date and room now! Just so I know, if you are asked to stay for the afternoon, how long does it last? Just looking at booking a train/coach! cheers!

Don't take it as gospel because it's been a while but IIRC my stage 1 took under 3 hours.

Well, I've done the Bio-date Questionnaire and, while not as time consuming as it used to be, it still made me worry that I was trying to give them the answers they wanted! I tried to be as honest as I could be, so now I wait....

thanks Crazy Voyager!! its just because it says if you pass your first tests you will be asked to stay for more tests...Am I to assume you took 3 hours and that included staying for the extra tests?? Thanks!

Since I passed all my stages yes, the 3 hours include all the 4 papers.

I had the morning slot and made a flight out of Heathrow by 6 with around 2 hours margin as far as I can remember. We can disregard the fact that a thunderstorm caused me to end up in Copenhagen instead of Gothenburg

If you want the exact times and the entire story I think I posted it here, the post should be from just after rememberance day so November 13th I'd guess.

Edit: My stage 1 was 2 years ago now, so you have to go back to november 2011 to find it.

Had an email to say mine was re-arranged, so I've changed from the 26th to the 3rd and cancelled the premier inn i had booked. Booked to stay at the Novotel as they accept Avios points.

Hi megamc

It's a basic checking test where you just select a corresponding piece of info from a list!! The hard bit is its timed!!!!
I didn't think I did too well but managed to pass so just take it as it comes!!!

Hi, guys
I am also coming to the interview on the 26th of sept, thinking of flying to southampton. But does any one know, how long they take in replying back from the interview, it say's 15 working days in the email. But has anyone had it before that time, what is the general feedback time. oh and if anyone is flying to southampton from manchester for the interview, would like to join them.

Hi,
I received my invitation to stage 1 this morning., two days after I passed the online test.
There are links in the mail to download the documents ( Material test and Nats practice leaflet). So don't worry about it, if you passed the online test you will have it.

The mail also says that stage 1 will begin by one test, if you failed you're out, If you passed then two more tests.

Hi guys,

I did my online test 3 days ago and still no answer. Do they reply even if you fail or is it normal to take this long, all the post I read give me the impression that they receive an email either the next day or 2 days after.

Thnkx and congratulations to all that are getting through

Hi chejar,
I took the test yesterday and I haven't yet got a reply either.
