MicroHamrah I completed it about 6pm and found out the next morning about 10am the next day ie. not an automated response. However, some people didn't find out for a few days so patience is the key I think!
PS. Well done LGW_08R!!

If people are looking for places to stay I'd recommend looking at the Southampton Premier Inn, it's where I stayed for my 3 stages. Clean, comfortable room and took about 15 mins to drive to the CTC. Paid £29 for each night.

Cheers guys. At the moment, the only date available is tomorrow morning! Thinking that might be too early so will possibly wait for the next ones to come up.
Kimmikins, essentially yeah. It really gets you thinking about yourself though. Apparently you complete practically the same questionnaire at CTC during stage 2, so there is no point bluffing your answers as I suspect you would get caught out. I was just honest, and sometimes critical of myself. Presto, got through.

Hello,
I took the online test five minute ago. I am now waiting for an answer.
I can tell that is a very simple test, but I find it a bit hard. The difficulty is the time. You have to be fast and accurate. I have to reckon that my heart was bitting fast. I tried to keep my cool and focus. I think I did it well...

Prestwick isn't a NATS airport so I would very much doubt it.

Online assessment
Hi everyone looking for some help and advise. Been invited to carry out the online assessment and was looking for some advise on how to do it. Is it hard? Once you select the link does this start the online assessment or is there an oppertunity to practice? How long will it take and are there any other tools or websites similar that can be used. Thanks for your help

First post!
Hi guys, ive been following the posts for a while but just decided to join now.
First I would like to say that I applied very early july so was gutted when everyone applying in Aug got their invites to the online test.
But since then I have got the invite to the online test, done it, now I m going to Swanwick for Stage 1 next week!
Just trying to prepare for the test(s) and find it difficult to find many test/quizzes/questions for diagramming online. any help?
How are people finding the booklet you need to know? Is it important to know every model of aircraft and all their details?
Also cheers for all the info posted here!

The stage 1 booklet is there to be read and studied. However so far I don't think anyone has been asked in detail questions during stage 1, they're of a more general nature. Having said that though if you get accepted you will have to learn even more details about aircraft so you might as well get started erly IMO.
I have no clue if the SDM is still around (I did my stage 2 before DART came around) but hope it is because it was good fun

For those who still need to book their slot for stage 1 I've just checked and there was about 20 listings from the 26th Sep to the 3rd Oct. I've booked onto the 26th September one. They have changed the venue for these days, instead of being held at NATS they are held at the Novotel in Southampton. Might make the traveling a little easier for some.

I understand you, I wonder the same thing, why some yes and others no... we're in the same position!. Time...
