I really want that skytest software to revise with but there isn't a Mac version, plus it's pricey! How are you guys practicing other than the practice leaflet? Any online test to recommend? I have done a couple but at the very end they say you must pay such and such to see how well you did.

Hi guys,
I live in london and don't really know the area down there. What is the nearest train station, is it Swanwick? Do you guys stay at a hotel or you go straight there in the morning ?

Just received an e-mail from Nats inviting me to Stage 3 next month, quite surprising as I only failed stage 3 in July...?
Assume it's just an error on the system, need to contact them anyway to ask for feedback.

Hi all!
I'm new to the forum, thought I'd sign up
I passed the initial test (from the email link) and now I'm booked on the first stage test on Thurs 13th September at 08:15.
Anyone else at that time/day?

On the assumption you've all got your tests at the CTC in Whiteley, the nearest train station is Swanwick. However, you're looking at a taxi ride from there as it's a good few miles.
If you've got the early test time then leave plenty of time, rush hour traffic is terrible. Lots of people work in Whiteley and there's only one way in. Also, the parking at CTC isn't great either, lots of cars and not enough spaces.
Good luck to anyone who has got their tests coming up

Hey all.
My Stage 1 interview is on the 14th September. I'm flying in from Dubai on the 13th and have booked my stay on the 13th at the Solent hotel in Whiteley. Let me know if anybody is at the same selection as me and are staying in the area the night before also.

Just did my online test. Totally relaxed and calm awaiting results (not). Anyone from Yorkshire here ???

Greetings Everyone.
Got my online Assesment with NATS, but i had a quick question in regards to one of their games, the 'Gateway Game'
When ever i try it, i ALWAYS get game over soon as i try to pass the first gate, clearly im doing something wrong, but i read the description and far as i can tell, am doing what it says. Any Tips please?

Well, after apparent cancellations of any testing on Tuesday 11th, I'm now rescheduled for Thursday 20th. Able to put holidays in for this one too instead of throwing two sickies. Unfortunately the Premier Inn in Fareham is fully booked on the Wednesday night so now I'm looking at close alternatives.
Anyone else for Thursday 20th @ 10:45?
Like mts1 has said, the Stage 1 info is all detailed in this thread several pages back with numerous links to other source pages for practice tests/questions (Mental Arithmetic, Spatial Awareness, Diagrammatic Reasoning etc.).
Hell, even go on BBC Bitesize to touch up on some long division if needs be

Conc1845, look up the Holiday Inn in Fareham, it's potentially just as close but you'd come in a different way by taxi.
I've been using all sorts of websites for long division, multiplication, DST problems etc; it all helps! It gets you into the maths frame of mind and brushes off the cobwebs

Hello
Hi there!
I'm new to these forums and have made my way to the stage 1 selection tests. However I read 2-3 pages back that the test material they link you to in the email is outdated, should I email them requesting If they have any up to date material?
My interview is on the 26th at 8:15, any one else then?

Hi all,
New on here ... Just completed the online test (Took about 5 mins) but it redirected me back to nats.co.uk when I completed it, is that correct?
Also how long roughly before I hear anything back regarding the results of my assessment?
Thanks

If it's any use chaps (a generic term we use in ATC which includes the fairer sex before I get the book thrown at me) accommodation in Pompey is also plentiful...rail links direct to Swanwick, short taxi to CTC.
