OneStep - are you going for area or aerodrome?
Also, had my S2 the other day and got my e-mail saying I'd to take the Occupational Personality Questionnaire and they'd forward details for the next step. I'm assuming like S1 that this is the only indication you've passed?!
Or am I being optimistic?
If this does mean I've passed, the fear of S3 can set in properly

Fareham to Whiteley
Your have four options
Taxi, most expensive but most likely to get you there
Bus, cheapest but finding out the times and where the bus goes from may be difficult. (First Group timetables are available on line if you do a bit of research)
Train to Swanwick and then walk (25 minutes walk from Swanwick station, instructions are in a much earlier posting in this thread)

Thanks man. I think I will see if my train stops at swanwick, if not, then I will take bus to whiteley.
EDIT: One more question. Is checking a part of S1. When I read reports from S1 some of you mention it, while some of you don't?

round one success
i found the 3D cubes ok, similiar to ones found in the mensa testing protocols.
got the email today saying i had passed round one and now have to sit a Bio-data Personality Questionnaire. am more worried about this than the non verbal reasoning questions. any big pitfalls i shoulod avoid before sitting it?

I wouldn't worry too much, they're all very basic questions in the personality test. Just be honest and consistent. If you know your own personality you've nothing to worry about.

Hey guys.
Sat the Stage 1 at Prestwick on the 30th and got an invite to Stage 2. Didn't want to post anything until I was in the system. This forum has been a great help with some great links to practice with. Thanks.
Gaz, hope you passed as well mate. If so, shoot me an email and I'll head down to Fareham when you book it.

Cheers for the consolation messages Think I'm going to get a job in the subject I did at uni (graphic design) and start flying lessons again to get an NPPL(M) as the NATS thing rekindled my interest in aviation. Whoever said you don't get scrap paper for the cubes: I did Stage 1 at NATS CTC and we were given scrap paper, don't know if its changed in the last month?
